As Senior Digital Manager in the Communications Department at National Skills Coalition, I took a quick trip to Minneapolis, MN, to talk with three veterans who used local skills training programs to find work after leaving the military. Just a crew of one and with only a couple hours to set up, interview, and pack up my gear, I was able to get really honest stories from José (below), Mike, and Patt about their struggles to find work after coming home and what they’ve been able to accomplish since completing their training programs.
